Readiness of Polish Industrial Enterprises for the Industry 4.0 Revolution

Implementing solutions related to Industry 4.0 is a challenge for Polish industrial enterprises, regardless of size or affiliation larger, international organisation. The aim this article examine the awareness, readiness and ability these enterprises meet challenge. This study was conducted on group 60 randomly selected representatives companies operating in Poland. A structured interview consisting 32 questions, carried out using English computer-assisted web (CAWI) method, used collect data. Statistical differences between employing up 249 people at least 250 were verified by use nonparametric Mann–Whitney U test. Latent variables also extracted, comparison independent samples from Student’s t-test. Regardless responses employees those more, results showed an insufficient level knowledge technological as well lack awareness about supporting business development means specialised technology providers. Even though little importance identified, identifying key determinants raising among Poland may become not only basis further scientific research but vital catalogue activities that can be disseminate area. Both paths are extremely important enterprises. Practical implementation measures particularly entails additional support small medium-sized (hereinafter SME) investment technological, financial human resources.
